Welcome to the 16th Biomedical Engineering International Conference (BMEiCON2024). This event is supported by IEEE EMBS (Thailand), IEEJ (Japan), and IFMBE, and is the flagship annual conference of the Thai Biomedical Engineering Association (ThaiBME). This year, we are delighted to hold BMEiCON in Pattaya, Thailand, a well-loved beach destination on the Gulf of Thailand.Welcome to the 16th Biomedical Engineering International Conference (BMEiCON2024). This year, we are delighted to hold BMEiCON in Pattaya, Thailand, a well-loved beach destination on the Gulf of Thailand. As a general chair of the conference and as senior professor of Thammasat University, this event is also part of the 90th year anniversary celebration of Thammasat University.
The mission of BMEiCON2024 remains focused on uniting engineers, researchers, and medical professionals from around the globe to share the latest advancements in biomedical engineering. This year’s conference showcases an impressive lineup, with 87 paper presentations and four distinguished keynote speakers: Prof. Yuichi Tamura from the Department of Intelligence and Informatics at Konan University; Prof. Dr. Charturong Tantibundhit from the Center of Excellence in Nexus in Advanced Intelligence in Law, Engineering, and Medicine (NailEm) at Thammasat University; Prof. Saranyoo Ponnikor from the Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University; and Dr. Pramote Hochareon, M.D., Ph.D., from NIRVAMED, INC. Each session will follow the program available on our website, and we encourage your participation in the discussions.
All submissions to BMEiCON2024 underwent a thorough peer-review process by our technical program committee and reviewers. This conference would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of the organizing committee and staff, to whom I extend my sincere gratitude. I also wish to thank our keynote speakers, authors, and participants for their valuable contributions in pushing the boundaries of biomedical engineering and related fields.
